Back to repairs

Between hikes and wood working and other stuff, I have been jacking up the south end of my barn and tearing out the rotted sill. The main 8"x8" post is now 4' inches in the air along with all the studs, which worries me on windy days like this one. I capped off the foundation with mortar and will install a couple of treated 2x8s as the new sill when the mortar cures. Then I can lower the end of the barn and secure it.

Another Stream Picture... hope you can stand it.

This is of Smith Brook taken on a trail about 2 miles from home. I still haven't taken a picture that satisfies me, so I'll keep trying until the streams run dry or I finally get it right.
